SCADA
Industrial processes need some control and monitoring to make sure the process results are within specifications and human interface for suitable changes the process, if so required. In order to acquire data through reliable systems, maintain efficiency, and have trustworthy communication (data interchange) between systems, it is necessary to have a scientific and methodical software system. SCADA is one such system that helps determine whether all the processes are in-line.
What is SCADA?
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is a system made up of software and hardware components that enables monitoring and control of industrial processes and gathering and processing of real-time data. SCADA is a system of software and hardware elements that allows industrial organizations to directly interact with devices such as sensors, valves, pumps, motors, PLCs and human-machine interface (HMI) through software.
